Flagpole Technology Challenge

The challenge ...

Using only some newspaper, string, tape, straws and a ruler, construct a free standing flagpole and flag.

Everyone had to work in teams of four or five.

Soccer scorpions, Isaac, Ben, Ethan, Riley and Cole. We are trying to make it so our flag can be hoisted up.

Awatea, Zahraa, Aaron and Anna. We are trying hard to make it work.

Imogen, Vania, Emma, Rebbecca, Olivia are The Rock Stars. We are doing great teamwork and helping each other do things.

The Rock Stars, Leo, Cameron, Cameron, Connor and Bradley. It is tricky to get the flag on because the straws are a little bit bendy. It is hard to get all our ideas to work.

The boys and girls team, Alex, Ashley, Quin, Olivia, and Olivia. We are happy we got it standing up. We couldn't do it at the start but then we did it! We finished first and we made it to the finals!

The Sweet Girls. Alex, Tayla, Lucy, Kyla and Ella. The height is going well but it is hard to get it standing up. We are cooperating well and getting things done quickly together.
