Collection

When it rains it falls into rivers or sinks into the earth. Rain can also go into lakes and oceans. This is called collection.

How Evaporation Works

Evaporation is when the burning sun brings the water up to the sky from the ground. It turns into a gas called water vapour. It forms into a cloud. This is called evaporation.

How Evaporation works

Evaporation is when the burning sun brings the water up to the sky from the ground. It turns into a gas called water vapour. It forms into a cloud. This is called evaporation.

Raining down.

Precipitation occurs when so much water has condensed that the air cannot hold it any more. The clouds get heavy and water falls back to the earth in the form of rain, hail or snow.

Evaporation

Evaporation is when the water evaporates into the clouds and it stays in the clouds for a little while. The sun heats up the water and it gets caught in the clouds.

Precipitation

Precipitation is when the clouds get heavy and it rains or snows. It can also hail.

Our condensation freeze frame

The water vapour or steam in the air starts to get cold and it changes into another state of matter called liquid. This is called condensation.

Water cycle

We have been predicting weather and I have been predicting the water cycle

Water evaporates up and it forms a cloud this is called evaporation.

The sun heats up the water and the water cames up this is how evaporation happens.

Next the clouds are formed it is called condensation.

Then when all the drops of water get heavy it either rains, snows or hails this is called precipitation.

Next the water goes into rivers, lakes or oceans this is called collection.

Have you seen all four pieces of the water cycle?

Have you tried to predict the water cycle before?

How to predict weather

We have been predicting the weather.

There are many ways to predict the weather,

Here are some ways:

If there is dew on the grass it will probably be sunny.

Smell the flowers,do they smell stinky it might rain.

And one more way is the wind direction.

If you drop some grass you can see which way the wind is blowing.

If the wind blows east it should rain.

Have you tried predicting the weather before?

I think it is fun to predict the weather,do you like
