Earthquakes and tsunamis

Earthquakes and tsunamis are very dangerous.

Earthquakes can damage a lot of roads and cities.

A tsunami is a massive wave that smashes onto the ground.

Here are some of the damages they can cause...

Smashed buildings

Tsunamis

It can damage roads so cars can't go on them anymore.

Earth quakes can cause landslides or mud slides.

Scientists have been trying to invent a machine that tells us when earthquakes are coming but so far they haven't succeeded. Earthquakes can happen without any warning.
